Amanda Labora, a junior at Brown University, was in Alexandria when protests the broke out. She says she watched bullets fly and a new sense of community develop amidst calls for the resignation of President Hosni Mubarak.
Labora was one of two Brown students in Alexandria as part of a study abroad program. The group left the country due to concerns about safety, but Labora says she would go back in a heartbeat if authorities say it is safe to return.
