Bryant adds Chinese, Spanish majors

January 12, 2011

Bryant University can now count Mandarin Chinese and Spanish among the list majors for undergraduate students.

This is the first time the university has offered any foreign language major, though the school does have individual classes in several modern languages including Spanish, Chinese, French and Italian.

Bryant is known for its business school, and professors say they see Chinese and Spanish majors as an asset to companies in today’s global economy.
