Brown coach reported missing
An assistant soccer coach at Brown University has apparently been missing since early this month. Denis Chartier has not been seen since Sunday, February 6th.
Chartier’s family has filed a missing persons report with police in their hometown, Burrillville.
Brown officials released this statement today:
University officials learned early this week that family members of Brown Assistant Coach for Women’s Soccer Denis Chartier had filed a missing persons report with Burrillville Police; Denis was last seen on Sunday, February 6. The University is cooperating fully with authorities to support efforts to locate Denis. Denis has been a member of the Brown community for more than 15 years. Our thoughts are with Denis and his family during this most difficult time. We have shared this information with the women’s soccer team and other members of our community who know and care deeply about Denis. We have also made support services available to members of the community affected by this news.
